I create these lightweight earrings Using Sterling silver, 14K gold filled or Argentium 935 Sterling Silver wires. Using swavorski crytals adds sparkle to these earrings. Also when wearing these you can't lose them as they cannot fall out.

Traditional Sterling Silver is 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. Argentium Sterling silver is 93.5% Silver with copper being replaced by metalloid germanium. The addition of germanium gives a brighter sheen and makes it more tarnish resistant. The 14K gold filled wire is better than plated wire as it is a thicker covering of gold. The gold filled wires I use are 14 K and 1/20 of the wire's weight is gold. The gold will not flake off as does plated wire and should last a lifetime.
