I created this necklace with Amazonite and Sterling Silver. The clasp on the sterling chain is a lobster clasp. This necklace is available in the chain length of your choice: 18 inches, 20 inches or 22 inches.
Amazonite is a stone that was used as early as 4000 years ago in Egypt, Sudan and Mesopotamia. In the present day it is found in Brazil, Colorado, India, Madagascar, Namibia and Russia.
It is thought of as a stone of harmony, truth teller and peace maker. It is also seen as a throat chakra activator and enhancement of communication.
Each piece of Whitty Wire Jewelry is handcrafted by the artist and never by a manufacturer.
My pieces use several techniques such as wire wrap, metal smithing, wire crochet, Viking knit, French knit and some fused glass pieces.
Customization and custom order inquiries are always welcome.
Pam Whitlow
store owner and artist
After several inquiries about my jewelry pieces and where to purchase them, I decided to create Whitty Wire Jewelry in 2010. I initially started with wire wrapping stones and since then my art has evolved to include metal smithing, knit and crochet wire, fused glass, and some metal clays. I pride myself in creating each jewelry piece by hand and enjoy working with my customers when they ask for customization.
